X-Factor winner, Alexandra Burke, has her first single expected to drop any minute now. She's been recording in LA and London with mega-producers, such as RedOne, StarGate and Timbaland. She's got everyone from Ne-Yo to Jay-Z complimenting her. Her album is shaping up to be brilliant.
So why the f**k does she have Flo-Rida on her first single? It's called "Bad Boys" (I'm willing to overlook the title) and supposedly sounds like Sugababes' latest single, "Get Sexy". No word on who produced it yet, but it may be the Smeezingtons, who did "Get Sexy".
I was hella excited for this, but my excitement level has gone down a bit after reading this piece of info. Don't get me wrong. Flo's all right (he has KE$HA on his tracks), but he's basically a rent-a-rapper. I mean, he was on singles by Brooke Hogan and Jaydyn Maria. Need I say more? I'm hating how all these chicks are getting him to be on their songs. Alexandra could've gotten anyone (oh, the power of Simon Cowell) but Flo-Rida? I'd be willing to overlook him if the song is any good, but I guess we have to wait and see when it premieres in the next couple of days.
