KRIS ALLEN VIDEO TO PREMIERE TOMORROW

American Idol 8 winner, Kris Allen, released his first single, "Live Like We're Dying", a while back, but the video is set to premiere tomorrow! The song has so far peaked at #89 on the Hot 100 charts and is the lead single from his self-titled debut album, in stores November 17.

Speaking of the album, it will be available for streaming in full this Monday on AOL's Pop Eaters website! Stay tuned for my review.

KRIS ALLEN SINGLE/ALBUM UPDATE

Apparently, American Idol 8 winner Kris Allen's debut single should be premiering this month. Rumor has it the song is called "Lucky You" (take that with a grain of salt), and will serve as the lead single from his yet to be titled debut album, out in stores November 17th. Allen has been in the studio with Salaam Remi, Claude Kelly, David Hodges, Toby Gad and former American Idol contestant, Chris Daughtry.

I can't wait to see what route he's going to go in! His early stuff was very Rock/Pop, but Salaam Remi, Claude Kelly and Toby Gad are all Pop/R&B producers, so we'll see how it goes. He was my pick for Idol winner, so I'm really glad he won. Can't stand Adam Lambert.

American Idol winner, Kris Allen, has set a release date for his debut album, due out on Jive Records.

It's due out November 17. Yes, the same day Leona Lewis is gonna release her album. I don't know, guys, I think it's a bit tricky releasing it out on that day. I mean, Leona's last album was a monster. Sure, Kris won Idol but these days, that doesn't guarentee anything. We'll see when the single drops, which he said should be out 'soon'.

Allen has been in the studio with Salaam Remi (Livvi Franc, Amy Winehouse), Claude Kelly (Backstreet Boys, Akon), Toby Gad (Ke$ha, Fergie) and David Hodges (Jessie James, Katharine McPhee). Earlier this year, I visited my cousin at the studio and it turned out that his mixer is the same as Kris', so I got to hear a song. It sounded like something Elliot Yamin would do.
