MARIAH RELEASING ANOTHER REMIX ALBUM

In addition to the Memoirs remix album, in stores this February, Mariah Carey is also releasing ANOTHER remix album in 2010, this time with house mixers, Jump Smokerz, who remixed "Obsessed" and "HATEU". The first remix album will be R&B/Hip-Hop, with a few unreleased songs from the Memoirs sessions, while the second one will be more of a house/club sound. Both are due early next year.

MARIAH "H.A.T.E.U." VIDEO NEWS

Mariah Carey's second/third single from her new album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, has been confirmed to be "H.A.T.E.U.". The-Dream produced/penned track sees Mariah go back to her '90s influenced R&B ballads. The video has been confirmed to be directed by Brett Ratner, making "H.A.T.E.U." the 8th collaboration between the pair. Stay tuned for more news!

CHART WATCH: JASON DERULO HITS #1

R&B singer/songwriter, Jason Derulo, has hit the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with "Whatcha Say", making it his first number one. Derulo has been in the music scene for quite awhile now, releasing "Coffee Girl" with Kat DeLuna in 2006 and "Cyber Love" with MIMS last year. His debut album will be out in stores early next year, and his next single, "Love Hangover", should be out soon.

In other chart news, Lady GaGa's "Bad Romance" debuts at number 9 on the Hot 100, while Taylor Swift's "Jump Then Fall" makes it to number 10. Ke$ha's "TiK ToK" jumps up to number 17 from 22 last week, while Taylor Swift makes another appearence with 8 other songs ("You Belong With Me" at #14, "Untouchable" at #19, "The Other Side of the Door" at #22, Superstar" at #27, "Come In With the Rain" at #30, "Forever & Always" at #34, "Fifteen" at #49, "Two Is Better Than One" at #80).

Alicia Keys' "Doesn't Mean Anything" drops to #64, while Rihanna's "Russian Roulette" makes it's way to #75. LeToya's "Regret" is proving to be a hit, jumping to #78.

On the Bubbling Under Charts, Mariah Carey's "Betcha Gon' Know" debuts at #3, Jessie James' much-stalled single, "I Look So Good", jumps to #4 and Timbaland, Nelly Furtado and SoShy's "Morning After Dark" finally debuts at #10.

The R&B charts have proved to be interesting, with Usher's "Papers" at #4, LeToya's "Regret" at #8, Rihanna's "Russian Roulette" at #49 and Beyonce's "Video Phone" (it's remix/video with Lady GaGa is set to debut today) makes it's way to #54. Alicia Keys' "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart" debuts at #93.

MARIAH RELEASING ANOTHER ALBUM THIS YEAR?

Mariah Carey just released her new album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, days ago, but is she planning to release another album soon?

That's the impression she left when she talked to MTV News this past Tuesday. During the interview, she addressed the issue of the 'missing songs', as fans label them, that have been produced by longtime collaborater, Jermaine 'JD' Dupri, and Timbaland, who produced the newly leaked song, "Skydiving" (listen below).

According to her, she has a 'special something planned' for the fans that she discussed with LA Reid that will include 'more than one Timbaland track' and 'at least one JD track'. Interesting...

I'm so excited! I can see why she would leave those tracks off, because, judging from "Skydiving", they wouldn't fit with the album's theme and sound. To me, it sounds like an EP, but maybe B-Sides or a re-release? We'll find out soon, hopefully!

The German Amazon website posted up clips of the new Mariah album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel, which is out in stores September 29. The album includes the Top 10 hit, "Obsessed", and the follow-up single, the Foreigners cover, "I Want to Know What Love Is". Memoirs includes production from The-Dream (Rihanna, Christina Milian), Tricky Stewart (Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige), Big Jim Wright and LOS Da Maestro (Nicole Scherzinger, Jordin Sparks).

I'm so excited for this album! I kinda like how she has the same, consistent producers for nearly every song. Makes me believe it's gonna be consistent and not sound all over the place, like E=MC2 did. Is it me, or, even though I like the Memoirs cover, would the single cover make a better album cover? It just looks better to me as an album cover. In other news, Mariah's also gonna be on OPRAH on the 18th. She's gonna perform, so you better tune in!

MARIAH'S NEW SINGLE!

I forgot to post this yesterday. Here's Mariah Carey's second/'first official' single off her new album, Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel! It's called "I Want To Know What Love Is", and it's a cover of the hit Foreigners song. It premiered on European radio yesterday. Check it out!

I love it! It sounds like it could've been on her debut. It's so throwback Mimi! I'm glad she's gonna have these kinda songs on Memoirs! She didn't have any on E=MC2. I'm all excited again! Her voice is so amazing here.
