American Idol winner, Kris Allen, has set a release date for his debut album, due out on Jive Records.
It's due out November 17. Yes, the same day Leona Lewis is gonna release her album. I don't know, guys, I think it's a bit tricky releasing it out on that day. I mean, Leona's last album was a monster. Sure, Kris won Idol but these days, that doesn't guarentee anything. We'll see when the single drops, which he said should be out 'soon'.
Allen has been in the studio with Salaam Remi (Livvi Franc, Amy Winehouse), Claude Kelly (Backstreet Boys, Akon), Toby Gad (Ke$ha, Fergie) and David Hodges (Jessie James, Katharine McPhee). Earlier this year, I visited my cousin at the studio and it turned out that his mixer is the same as Kris', so I got to hear a song. It sounded like something Elliot Yamin would do.
