SURPRISE! Ciara Readies New Album?!?

After the embarassing flop, but completely underrated, Fantasy Ride, rumors of Ciara getting dropped from her label and/or rushing to the studio to do damage control have been making their way online. Well, now, via Tricky Stewart himself, it's been confirmed. Ciara's releasing another album, her fourth, to be exact.

According to Stewart, him and The-Dream are the sole producers of the entire album, and have finished 14 songs so far. The record will consist of Ciara's signature up-tempos, but, Tricky says, 'with more substance' and 'depth' into them.

The set will feature no collaborations, other than The-Dream. Among the tracks the trio recorded, "Speechless" featuring The-Dream and "Gifted" are gonna be on the album. Apparently, the goal was to have the album to 'come out this year', but it looks like 'a next year thing'.

WOW. Just WOW. I knew there were rumors C's been in the studio, but I never really belived them. I love CiCi, but I'm not sure how I feel about Tricky and The-Dream producing the ENTIRE album. It turned out good the first two times (Mariah and Electrik Red), but it might get old. I hope they've got fresh, new material for her. Nonetheless, I'm excited! I don't think it's gonna be out this year, I'm predicting a February release date, but you never know.

THIS SHIT IS CRAZY! It's a straight up club banga! Why was this NOT on the album?!? THIS IS DEFINITELY SINGLE MATERIAL. IT'S A SMASH! It's such a shame it wasn't on the album. Waste of an amazing song! I've been waiting for this song for awhile. I don't know if you remember, but a clip of "Switch" was posted with a clip of "Pucker Up" awhile back, and I was hella excited for it! I'm glad it leaked. It's my favorite song by Ciara from the Fantasy Ride sessions!

Anyways, Ciara is supposedly recording new songs, so we'll see what'll happen.
