I really liked this performance! I think they both did a great job. Cheryl was a bit stiff, but she couldn't move in that dress, now could she? I love this song, and I'm smelling another smash number one for her.

I liked this one too! I love the new "RR" arrangement, and Rihanna sounded good, albeit flat at times, but it's Rihanna, we're used to it. I'm loving her new album, though

SHAKIRA'S WALMART SOUNDCHECK PERFORMANCE

KERI HILSON PERFORMS AT BBC1 LIVE LOUNGE

Check out videos if R&B singer Keri Hilson performing as part of the British BBC1 Live Lounge series. She performed her new UK single, "Energy", and a cover of Mr. Hudson's "Supernova". Watch them here:

AS USUAL, Keri KILLED it. There were a few missteps, but overall, it was great! I loved her cover of "Supernova"!

SAMANTHA JADE PERFORMS NEW SONG

Check out Australian pop/R&B singer, Samantha Jade, performing at the Estee Lauder Global Illumination event. She sang "When It Rains", a song she speficially wrote for this event. Her new single, "Secret", is picking up in Australia, so if you're from Down Under, support her!

That was amazing! Samantha is really talented and beautiful! I wish her all the best. I've been a fan since 2006 and she never disappoints.

VINTAGE KATY PERRY + LADY GAGA PERFORMANCES

Today, a couple of videos of Katy Perry, back when she was known as Katy Hudson, performing when she was 16 years old and still a contemporary Christian singer at the Glass House in Pomona, CA in 2001. Check it out below:

Another 'vintage' performance by a current, successful popstar also made it's way online. Check out Stefani Germanotta, aka Lady GaGa, performing her song, "Hollywood", at the Bitter End in 06.

Shakira performed a set for Walmart Soundcheck, Walmart's music concert series. The whole show will be posted on the official site on the 28th, but as for now, check out a preview above. Word is, she performed "DID IT AGAIN", "SHE WOLF", "SPY", "HIPS DON'T LIE" and "DON'T BOTHER". Check back on the 28th to see the videos here!

EVA SIMONS PERFORMS "SILLY BOY"!

You might know pop-star-in-the-making, Eva Simons, from her debut single, "Silly Boy". It was first labeled a Chris Brown diss, and, get this, as being a new Rihanna song featuring Lady Gaga. The song was featured on everything from CBS News to Ryan Seacrest's TOP 40 Show to Kanye West's Blog, and everyone thought it was really Rihanna. Then, Dutch singer, Eva Simons came out of hiding. She garnered immediate success, being offered a deal with EMI and getting more than 10 million YouTube clicks. She released the video for "Silly Boy" awhile back, and her she is, performing it at the Dome 51:

That was awesome! Eva displayed alot of energy on stage, and even though she reminds me alot of Lady GaGa, especially her dance moves, she holds her own. She's definitely talented, and I hope she's able to find success! Stay tuned for my interview with her!

BRITNEY PERFORMS AN ALANIS MORISETTE COVER!

Just last night, Britney Spears performed "You Oughta Know", a cover of an Alanis Morisette song, on the recent and final leg of her Circus tour. It was a good performance. Haven't heard the song before, but I'm gonna check it out now!

In other news, Britney's new single is RUMORED to be out on the 21st of September, but take it with a grain of salt. I think it's just a rumor.

SUGABABES PERFORM "GET SEXY" AGAIN ON THIS MORNING

British girlgroup, Sugababes, are hard at work on their new album, tentatively titled Sweet 7. They're also out promoting what is being dubbed their 'comeback single', "Get Sexy", which just hit #1 on the iTunes UK chart. They performed it a couple of days ago on T4, but here is the latest performance on This Morning. Check it out above.

The 'Babes were on point vocally, but Heidi seemed a bit awkward. Amelle owned the stage, though! She's my favorite. I was a bit iffy on the routine they were doing. That isn't really dancing, is it? Maybe the stage and their clothes prevented them from really dancing.

The performance was alright. Not much else to mention. The album is shaping up to be ace, though. It includes production from RedOne, Stargate, Fernando Garibay and Ryan Tedder. I don't know how I feel about the title, though, but it's the material that counts, right?

HEIDI MONTAG 'LIVE' ON MISS UNIVERSE

Check out Heidi Montag's performance on the MISS UNIVERSE 2009 FINALE last night. She performed her 'new' single, "Body Language", and thankfully, ditched the Spencer Pratt rap, and performed it solo.

That was actually good! Yes, she did lipsync, but she had swagger. You gotta give her that! She owned the stage and looked amazing while doing so. Her debut album is out September 29th (yes, the same day as Mariah, Madonna, Barbara) so check it out when it drops!

But why are they labelling "Body Language" as a 'new' song? True, they mixed it up a bit, but I've had it for, like, two years now. The song's still hot, though.
