KRIS ALLEN SINGLE/ALBUM UPDATE

Apparently, American Idol 8 winner Kris Allen's debut single should be premiering this month. Rumor has it the song is called "Lucky You" (take that with a grain of salt), and will serve as the lead single from his yet to be titled debut album, out in stores November 17th. Allen has been in the studio with Salaam Remi, Claude Kelly, David Hodges, Toby Gad and former American Idol contestant, Chris Daughtry.

I can't wait to see what route he's going to go in! His early stuff was very Rock/Pop, but Salaam Remi, Claude Kelly and Toby Gad are all Pop/R&B producers, so we'll see how it goes. He was my pick for Idol winner, so I'm really glad he won. Can't stand Adam Lambert.

  1. Why can't you stand Adam Lambert? Don't you like talented singers who can sing anything and sing it well? He's so gracious and humble and it's a shame that you don't appreciate that. There are some singers I can't stand either but I appreciate their talent and have no problem admitting when I enjoy one of their songs. Example, Kris Allen, who I think is only as popular as he is because of Adam. Adam, on the other hand is as popular as he is because of his talent. He didn't need anybody else for that.
I wish them both success with their upcoming albums. I know they're both better off today than they were a year ago.

  2. "He didn't need anybody else for that."

...if you ignore Simon Fuller and the judges on AI who practically begged for people to vote for him. Anyone who's on AI needed someone else for their popularity because they didnt make it on their own. But keep in mind that most of them haven't been in Hollywood for 10 years and STILL weren't discovered *whistles*

And its interesting that someone as humble of Adam can rarely come out and greet his fans because it's "too hot" or "he wants to rest his voice".

Oh yeah and some of us don't like drag queens.
